I live with my wife Stephanie in the beautiful Bay of Islands in New Zealand. We live in the village of Paihia which is one of NZ’s top tourist destinations and we are fortunate enough to live in a fantastic position overlooking the village, and across the Bay to Russell township.
Our baby Boomer generation were very fortunate to be born at a time when there were no world wars, and economies in most countries were pretty stable.
We, the Baby Boomers are ready to retire or looking towards retirement. We all thought it was going to be easy. Hit 65 pick up the pension, take the caravan or motorhome and just cruise. We could downsize to a smaller home, thereby having money in the Bank.
Along came 2008, then 2009 got worse, no better in 2010, and 2011 there is no sign of improvement. Our properties have gone backwards in value. The debt is still there and we are looking for a way out, being a financial way out.
I have searched around the Internet for ways of making money online. Being an affiliate marketer is quite simple and you dont need a website, however you do need people to onsell the product to.
MLM conjures up memories of group meetings and having to convince family and friends of buying into something that they really have no interest in.
On my journeys around the net I came across many MLM programes and some mean well, and they have good products, but something they all forget to mention is how to drive traffic to your product or website. I am reasonably proficient with a computer, but some programes are just so difficult to navigate around and understand.
The setup guides are written by nerds, in wording that only they understand. These nerds dont seem to understand that most people need good step by step explanations in English.
